Registered Traveler Registers In
With a year's worth of beta testing completed, how did the registered traveler experiment pan out in Houston Intercontinental and the four other US airport sites? What did TSA learn from the testing and what are its plans for continuing the program? This session attempts to address these questions and take your questions from the floor on other aspects related to aviation security.

Safety and Security in the Face of Disaster
Charlie LeBlanc of Air Security International will focus special attention on the disaster recovery and mobilization of work crews in the wake of Hurricane Katrina and Rita. Given the proximity of this disaster in terms of time, location, and mutual petro-chemical industry between Houston and the affected Gulf region, LeBlanc will dedicate time on lessons learned and obstacles encountered in disaster recovery as it applies to travel management. This session offers attendees the opportunity to focus on the safety and security of a company's primary asset--its employees.

De-mything the GDS vs. GNE Debate
The industry continues to be embroiled in the debate between GDSs and GNEs. The discussions continue primarily because hard evidence has been difficult to find in the dialogue. Instead the industry has been treated to future promises, cloudy statements about distribution channel economics, and uncertain prospects about where/how content will be accessed. This session is focused on getting the facts straight and minimizing the conjecture.

Mike Qualantone, Vice President, Global Distribution Strategy, American Express
