Under New Management: 2006 Business Travel Update
Calgary, AB
Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire Hotel
February 23, 2006
This forum is appropriate for both the experienced professional and the newly appointed corporate travel manager.
This day has been carefully planned starting with airline, ground, hotel and travel management consultants sharing their expert knowledge including an interactive case study on ways to reduce T&E; expenses. Over lunch, you’ll hear about the first-ever ACTE/Deloitte report on the global talent crisis and the implications for the Canadian Corporate Travel Manager which is being released the same day.
After lunch, you are off to gain a better understanding of the effects a pandemic (you have heard experts say it's only a matter of time) would have on Calgary, businesses and travel. At 3:00 pm, you are ready to call it a day, and you head out with your colleagues for a couple of drinks to unwind…just another day at the office.

Presentation: The Global Talent Crisis: Implications for Canadian Corporate Travel Managers
Building on the Deloitte Global Talent Survey, ACTE and Deloitte surveyed ACTE members in October, 2005 to gain insight into business and people challenges in Corporate Travel Management. We are thrilled to welcome Stephen back to share and present, in detail, the findings and the final report which will be available in hard copy to all delegates at the luncheon.
