ACTE
congratulates the 2001 award winners announced at the ACTE Global
Spring Conference in Tampa. The Industry Professionalism Award
was awarded to Scott Gillespie, founder and principal,
Travel Analytics, Inc., and acknowledges his significant contributions
made to the travel industry during the last 12 months.
In recognition of significant contributions made to his or her
own company during the last 12 months, the Business Professionalism
Award was awarded to the Hewlett Packard Global Strategic
Sourcing Team. Jeff Kurn, travel supplier manager and team
leader, received this award on behalf of the team.
The
President's Award recognizes members who have made significant
contributions to ACTE during the last 12 months. There were five
recipients for this award:

Asia/Pacific - Peter Choo, C.T., managing

Canada - Sylvia Gray, consultant, Western
Management Consultants
These award recipients will receive various global recognition
through ACTE publications, the ACTE Web site, ACTE press releases,
industry publications, recognition as model for industry best
practices among peers and their company, and a complimentary registration
to the ACTE Global Conference in Fall 2001.
