ACTE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION

(Ballots must be cast by 15 December 2004)
ACTE members from around the world have nominated sixteen respected and talented professionals to serve on the ACTE Board of Directors. The ACTE Board of Directors is responsible for the global strategic direction and financial well-being of the association. This election will fill one At-Large seat, one EMEA seat, and one U.S. seat. Board members are critical to the association's focus to deliver ongoing (year-round) programming and member value without bias to any one region. The successful candidates will hold office from 1 January 2005 through 31 December 2007.

Understanding that ACTE is the only global member-driven association providing year-round programming and industry direction, it is a given fact that ACTE elected officials become recognized leaders of the business travel industry. It is now your responsibility to choose these leaders by exercising your member privilege to vote.

Voting is the most direct way of expressing your opinion. It is the most basic measure of your interest in the association's future, the type of programs it will offer, the issues it will pursue and the influence it will have on the business travel profession as a whole.

Please read the ballot and accompanying information carefully before you vote. Completed ballots must be received by ACTE on or before 15 December 2004. To make sure your vote is counted, your ballot must be signed and dated.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this important election.

  Sincerely,

  Cheryl Hutchinson, Nominations Committee Chair
