Since joining American Standard in 2001, Tom has had corporate contract and policy oversight responsibilities in the materials management supply chain organization for Travel Management, Services, Consultants, and Human Resource benefits area covering 29 countries and 60,000 employees.
He is a dynamic strategic buyer of services, with a documented record of leveraging purchasing power to facilitate organizational objectives. Tom is a visionary leader with solid change management, vendor partnering, and contract negotiation qualifications and has been repeatedly recognized for employing industry best practices.
Before joining American Standard, Tom worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in New York City as Director, Global Travel Services. Prior to that, he was with National Starch & Chemical Company as Director, Travel & Fleet Administration.
Involved in the community, Tom serves as a board member for the United Family & Children’s Society and is the former president and current director of the North Plainfield Lions Club.
He is a member of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), and has previously served two terms on its Global Board of Directors. Tom also participates in various industry advisory boards, including the editorial board of Business Travel News. He is also a member of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science in Administrative Science from Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, New Jersey.
