14.20 - 15.30 | Sesson 1: RIP, RFP
Today's RFP is at a crossroads: it is time-consuming, tedious and expensive. The amount of time and cost often contrasts with the revenue when, for example, despite a carefully negotiated hotel programme, a relevant portion of the employees use different booking channels. Is the classic invitation to tender still timely and effective if everyone books where they want? And if so, how can one proceed so that the tender is processed quickly and effectively? This session will be opened by Marcus Riehl, Customer Success Manager Business Travel at Booking.com for Business, who will look at the topic from the perspective of the changing hotel sales landscape. He looks behind the scenes with you and explains what causes "Maverick Buying" and how RFP can be used to find new ways to combine efficient purchasing with high employee satisfaction in the future. Afterwards, get to know the RFP approach of two colleagues who have broken new ground in this area. You will then have the opportunity to ask questions and we will work with a panel of experts to find out whether the RFP should really rest in peace.
Panel:
Birgit Hölzel, Director Country Management Germany, AirPlus International
Benjamin Park, Senior Director Travel, Parexel
Timo Löffler, Area Manager DACH & Eastern Europe, Booking.com for Business
Eugen Triebelhorn, Gesachäftsführer Deutschland, TravelPerk
Amelie Volkert, Travel Manager, Schwarz Mobility Solutions
15.30 - 15.50 | Coffee break
15.50 - 17.20 | Session 2: Thank you, next. New vendors, new technologies, new buzzwords, new solutions. What comes, what remains and what do we really need?
In this interactive session we discuss all the topics of the day with you, the audience, in round tables. At the end, we will prepare an exclusive summary of the day and an outlook as to which trend really remains and what should be on our own Agenda 2020.
This session will be opened by Birgit Hölzel, Director Country Management Germany, AirPlus International, who will present one of the biggest trends, Invisible Payment: The world around us is changing and virtual payment solutions are increasingly finding their way into our everyday lives and opening up new ways to pay for business travel. Are you ready to pay completely invisibly? What possibilities already exist and will they follow in the coming years? And how will this development make life easier for us and for your business travellers?
Get to know these and other trends and discuss with us and colleagues what really moves the industry.
