We deal with a myriad of issues including but not limited to best practices within a managed travel policy, cost and supplier consolidation, tools for effective supplier negotiation and changing trends across the region and globally. ACTE events focus on issues pertinent to each region and aim to assist the Corporate Travel buyer in maximizing their efficiency and in so doing, adding value to their corporations. We also work, when appropriate, with ministries, academia, and other organizations to support you and the industry.
Our most recent events were held over November and December in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Dubai where we hosted Executive Forums and in Qatar where we partnered with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority to bring vital information to the regions Travel Professionals regarding how to work in a commission free environment. This event was attended by over 250 delegates from all three industry sectors across the Middle Eastern Travel Industry.
The first quarter of 2008 will be jam-packed with various Forums across the Middle East & Africa Region.
We begin with the Corporate Travel Management (CTM) EMEA Event being hosted in Dubai from 25 – 27 February. As the Educational Partner for this event, ACTE will be assisting with educational programming as well as hosting several sessions addressing the most complex challenges facing Corporate Travel Managers, including analysing current processes, understanding costs and how to cut back and the successful implementation of a travel program.
ACTE Members receive a 10% discount when registering to attend CTM EMEA.
In addition, Executive Forums will be hosted in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Lagos in the first quarter of 2008 and will be also be taking our first steps into Kenya and Abu Dhabi in the latter half of 2008.
November will see the first ever ACTE Africa Education Conference being hosted in Johannesburg at the Sandton Convention Centre.
This Event will focus on the most relevant Travel Management issues faced by Corporate Travel Professionals across the African Continent and will feature Keynote presentations, Educational breakout sessions, a Solutions showcase and Social Networking functions.
