Incredibly, we are already almost half way into 2009 and well into the ACTE Education Calendar and various projects and initiatives.
Have you managed to check out ACTE’s online Global Business Journal yet? If not, do click through to view our first on-line eco friendly version of the Global Business Journal. This new on-line version again shows ACTE’s level of innovation and our commitment to adding value to our Members whilst simultaneously endeavouring to look after our environment.
Our goal across this region for 2009 is to provide our Members and Event Delegates with even more value through delivering top quality, relevant education at our Executive Forums, PowerTalks and Webcasts. In addition, as we know that real-time benchmarking information is an area of great interest to our Members, we are hosting several surveys across the region. The first of these is the South Africa Travel Management survey, focussing on various key areas of interest for our Members, including average Travel Manager salaries, the most popular payment methods, Self Booking Tools and whether corporations are measuring savings and much, much more.
The aim of all events and surveys is to advance the industry through providing and sharing realistic and pertinent Travel Management strategies and ideas that can be investigated and immediately implemented by Travel Professionals the world over.
In order to view events taking place in your city, please visit the ACTE Education Calendar and check back often for updates and registration details.
In addition we aim to continue our previous success in building Membership across the region. ACTE Members in the Middle East & Africa are comprised of major corporations such as Accenture, Anglo American, AngloGold, Barloworld, De Beers, Ericsson, Group 5, Intel Corporation, KBR, MTN, Nampak, Schlumberger Oilfields, Shell Petroleum Development Corporation, SARS, Siemens, Spescom, Vodacom and Unilever to name but a few. To view additional information about ACTE Member benefits, please visit the ACTE Membership Page where application forms can also be downloaded and completed.
Please do not hesitate to let the Middle East & Africa Team know if you have any queries, require any further information or would like to get more involved with the Association - we will be delighted to be of assistance.
We look forward to meeting up with you during our many events and initiatives this year.
Stay well!
