As Regional Chair it is my good fortune to attend many ACTE events across Canada. At each and every event I am struck by the great energy and collaboration that exists within our industry. While the business travel climate is most certainly changing, I see a growing need for collective learning and a strong desire within our community to share like experiences.
I encourage you to join this growing movement and to take advantage of the unparalleled opportunities that ACTE offers both on a regional and global front to connect, innovate and collaborate with your peers. In the coming months ACTE will continue to challenge you to grow as a professional, to assist you in dealing with the challenges of the business, and to prod you into action.
In Canada, we greatly benefit from a multitude of very talented member volunteers who help us stay on top of issues that are uppermost in your mind. While their assistance is invaluable to our planning it also affords them the opportunity to connect and share with others in the industry in a way that extends beyond typical business relationships. It’s a win-win situation that I personally invite you to take part in.
I look forward to meeting you at an upcoming ACTE event.
Sincerely,
Gillian McCormack
