The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 was designed to reestablish corporate accountability and reinforce investor confidence. To accomplish this, new demands have been placed on Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), and the functions they oversee. As organizations implement policies and procedures to assure compliance with this legislation, there is no doubt that the travel management function will be impacted. ACTE is committed to providing its members with the education and tools to facilitate these changes.
